Don't know if it will help but have a look at Q196381. It does talk about a
Raptor FW, but might have some bearing on your situation. The other
connectors you speak of, how are they configured?

Try specifying the other host with an IP address
rather than a NetBIOS name (which won't work at all)
or a DNS name (which often doesn't work right).
