This is more of a curiousity - I attempted to send mail to several addresses at unc.edu this morning, and I simply could not get mail there from my mail server (Exch2K, W2K). This is the error message:
***** Subject: Test Sent: 6/5/2003 9:27 AM The following recipient(s) could not be reached: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' on 6/5/2003 9:27 AM You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator. <pcgexch2.local.privateconsulting.com #5.7.1 smtp;550 5.7.1 Access denied> ***** I verified their e-mail addys were good, and even sent mail successfully from a hotmail account. I verified I'm not blocking that IP range, and that they're not blocking my domain. I do see our ISP's base range (208.187.x.x) is listed on a couple of rather obscure RBL lists, but my mail server is not specifically listed anywhere. Further, I can telnet to their mail server at 152.2.1.243 successfully. What could be the issue?
