We are running ScanMail 3.6 on all of our Exchange servers and also a TVCS
1.8 machine. All of them report correctly expect for a BDC we have (it's a
multi-use server, file/print, Exchange, SQL, BDC etc...). In TVCS, it
shows "Real Time Scan Status" as off. The Real Time service is set to
Automatic and is started. If you go into the registry per Trend's
Knowledge Base article 9274, Scan direction is set to disable. Resetting
only works temporarily. I just upgraded to 3.61 because Trend says this is
one of the fixes in the new version (after asking them for a month why
this is happening), I still have the same issue and Trend has no idea why.
Also, the agent on this machine consistently shows as not being installed,
even though it reports back to the TVCS server. Has anyone seen this
before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
