Disable-mailbox Clean-mailboxdatabase Enable-mailbox The clean-mailboxdatabase isn't theoretically required, but I like to throw it in there. Note that this actually removes the mailbox from a user and creates a new one for the user. If that isn't actually what you want, tell us more.

Yup, I'm ignorant - but a little less so now... I already had all of the prerequisites from that article, and adding the remote store was a snap. I just created a dummy .bks file for the Exchange backup, and copied the contents of that to the end of my current .bks file. It'll be tested tomorrow

Absolutely the easiest (and fastest)...came across a mailbox last week with over 8 million messages in the deleted items container. Not sure what I was thinking when I clicked on Deleted Items...like it would ever open... I ended up killing Outlook and running disable-mailbox...ridiculous. On Mo
