What's the trick to allowing a user the ability to `Open other Users Folder`
when that user is hidden from the GAL?
Thanks!

Unhide them. Attach to them. Hide them.

different.
You could also use OWA:

LOL, this does the trick:
I am trying to create a service account that can access all the mailboxes on
our E2K7 servers. The command I run is this (names changes to protect the
innocent:
Get-mailboxserver servername | add-adpermission -user user -accessrights
GenericRead, GenericWrite -extendedrights Send-As,
I often have to do this for service related accounts that utilize a mailbox. I
end up using exmerge to yank everything out. Although exmerge is scriptable, is
there any other ways to programmatically do this without using exmerge?
Thanks!

In Henrik's article it only discusses how to create a DAG on the same subnet.
How would I setup the DAG when the IP addresses for the replication network are
on seperate networks?

OK weird, it tells me the server cannot be found. I am on the mailbox server

So I have googled this but not finding any real clear instructions. I
don't understand if I create a 2nd smtp server for comms between a user
in my world and someone on the outside how does exchange know to use the
other smtp server?? I also am a little unclear on the x.509 cert, I
don't see how
Now when I creat the members of the DAG I get the following error:

Not sure you have given enough information to get good help, but once you
create that secondary smtp tls connector all mail to that named domain will
try to go through that connector. If TLS is not correctly setup or enabled
on the other end the mail will sit in that que. We had a cert for OWA
Still no dice - Running PFDAVAdmin I seem to be able to do everything BUT
enumerate All Mailboxes and still get Could not expand

instance of an object.
