When sending email
to a certain domain (chpc2.org) it fails everytime with the
following error:
"A mail
message was not sent because the maximum time for delivery has
expired."
I can telnet to port
25 110on the remoteserver just fine.

Users on our network are unable to send mail to one particular domain.
I've checked to make sure our DNS can resolve the name. I've tried setting
an address translation for this domain on the connections tab of the IMS
properties (specify by e-mail domain). I set the SMTP logging to max and

forwarded to a pop email account. The pop got full and would reject the
forwarded email. The IMS would continue to try and send it, which would
clog up the queue. Then others would show Host Unreachable. Once I

Can you do an NSLookup FROM the Exchange server to that domain? Can you
telnet to the other domains server?

It seems that messages over about 100K sit in the outbound mail queue and
just keep retrying until they fail. If you bring up the details on the
messages it tells me Host Unreachable. The strange thing I find about it
