sound like you maybe backing up exchange files not stores. Are you using the exchange agent. Have you checked the BE logs, they are very good at telling you what is backed up. Turn it on verbose (or something similar) and it will tell you each file and agent used. ellery july Technical Lead

You can figure the math out. DLT7000 max speed it 5MB/sec. 20 Minutes = 1200 seconds. 1200 x 5 = 6000MB. So at maximum capacity you should get 6GB backed up in those 20 minutes. Reality says you won't see these numbers in the real world, but it's a great target to shoot for. (5000 MB / 4.2MB
