Change the account assigned to the mailbox to your personal one and see if you can open it that way.

Is
your personal account an Exhange administration account? Ie can you access
other mailboxes with your login? If so add the administrator box as a
secondary account under Outlook ( Tools|services|Microsoft Exchange

didn't work. My personal account is the Exchange admin account, but when I
try to set up a new Internet mail account with the name of Administrator and my
password, it won't accept it and gives me a dialog box
