Not really.
Some companies believe their DNS name should be different than their SMTP
domain, though.

If you have a DMZ setup, it has its own DNS..(you will need a router between the DMZ and the internal LAN)
You have your internal DNS
The outside company.com DNS would then be different than your internal company.com DNS
Thus your web
