I have a hosting company and we power over 150 websites. Now AOL and Yahoo
can not handle all the e-mails we are sending out. We send out about 30k
e-mails a day and 50% of the messages come back as deferred. I know you can
signup for Yahoo's bulk e-mail program but do I have to signup every singl
I am not sure what the best way to go about this is. We run almost 200
websites on one of our servers and each website has a quite large user base.
Usually 10-20 of the websites will send out mass e-mails but the problem is
Yahoo and other e-mail hosts don't like the volume being sent from the IP
Hi I have a website named gaincoporation.com and whenever I send an email the
headers look like this..
Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

The problem is one of my sites has over 60,000 mmembers it tries to send
emails to. Would it be more effective to send 25 emails a minute then them
all at once?
Thanks for the retry rules I will use that.

Ok we have a serious problem.. there is over 9,000 messages in the mail queue
and a lot of them are over 4 days old!! I dont understand why there is
messages over 4days in it because we have it set up like so.
delay_warning = 100d
queue_run_max = 15
deliver_queue_load_max = 5
auto_thaw = 1d
So I should add that back because it's been running fine without it?

For some reason it is only taking out like 20 emails per 10 minutes =(.. why
is it being so slow with this.. here is some of my configuration for the
queue
queue_run_max = 15
deliver_queue_load_max = 20
auto_thaw = 1d
ignore_bounce_errors_after = 2d
timeout_frozen_after = 2d

For some reason our queue has over 100,000 e-mail messages in at and they are
as old as 48 days!!!
I have these variables set:
deliver_queue_load_max = 10
auto_thaw = 1d
ignore_bounce_errors_after = 2d
timeout_frozen_after = 2d
There is also a bigger problem.. most of those e-mails are all SPAM b
Ok also I am doing pop before smtp. I have login to incoming server before

I am currently having a problem. For some reason when I connect to my SMTP
server or POP3 it does not add my e-mail to the relayhosts file. Then it
will give me an error saying I can't send out mail so I have to manually
insert my IP Address into the relayhosts file.
Is there any possible way to
I figured it out it thought it was Spam according to SpamAssasin. I set
SpamAssasin score to 7 and now its accepting it.
