I am going to try and stand up a second email server. This server will start
as a test server and then be moved into production. To begin with what I
would like to do is set it up using the same email domain as my current
email server and only have selected users ported over. Here are my problems

Is there a way to send messages to recipients that do not have a valid email
address on my system to a black hole. I do not want to bounce these, just
make them go away. Example, message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have no
johndoe and I do not want to bounce this, I just want it to go away.
Thanks
I am looking for an easy, user controlled, way to implement auto-replies for
vacations and such. I would also like to add a user controlled forward
ability if possible. A web based program would work best, but I can have
that created if needed to work with a CLI option.
Any advice is welcome
I am trying to set up SPA auth. Is there something that can step me thru the
process? I found a site that states to edit /etc/exim4/exim4.conf.template
and add the following to the 'auth/30_exim4-config_examples' section and to
create a password file. I can not determine the format of the password

5. Just configure your exim so that its settings fit your local host- and
domain name. Then try to submit a mail and take a look into exim's
logs. I thought I did this and I get the MX record error.

have no use in receiving email at this server for any reason. The emails it
sends out are for notifications of things that have occurred on this server
alone.

I am trying to either remove a particular email from several pop accounts or
separate the file into individual messages. Does anyone have a clue as to
how to do this?

change their local user's password.
Is there a web interface that would allow this type of thing?
Do I have to maintain local users for email or remove them and move to an
SQL based system if I can do something like I asked above?

I have 300+ exim processes running and only 500 processes running total on
my mail server. Is there anyway to determine what a particular exim process
is trying to process?

My boss wants the emails to bounce. But as a workaround does anyone know how
to create an auto reply that will send a specific message? I'm pretty new to
this so I need the filename and syntax if this is possible.
