Thanks for the feedback guys. I continued to work on the issue after
posting the message. I was able to confirm that the ACL is not the best
place to do the lookups as the information is user specific. It seemed to
set the values acl_m_delivery to be the values of the first recipient of

I think I figured out my problem, looking for confirmation from experts. I
do this in the ACL:
# Accept any email on port 26
accept condition = ${if=={$received_port}{26}}

I have a case where the following is happening:
If the email is to multiple recipients, if any of them are invalid the
message is bounced back to the sender and the message is not delivered,
including to the valid recipients.
How can I get EXIM to deliver what is valid and send an undelivered not

I've got an interesting one. I just need to send email from our
helpdesk server using php mailer. I did a basic internet site exim
config using dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config. Sending is working fine to
all domains except one. The one it does not work on is one of two mail
servers that's on o

Hello, I've installed a server dedicated to Mailman and necessary
Postfix for transport, following approximately this guide:
https://help.ubuntu.com/10.04/serverguide/C/mailman.html
But when a message is sent to the list, it's rejected by Exim with:
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 Unrouteable addres

Hello,
I'm getting the "Unrouteable address" error (this must be a classic)

so when I look to the log (tail -f /var/log/exim4/mainlog) I get this:
andresluc...@gmail.com: Unrouteable address
But the thing is that I can see gma

Hi
Hi Guys
I have noticed a very weird problem, users using auto complete in
outlook are getting an error stating Unrouteable address.
When I look at the exim logs I see the following:

Yesterday I was trying to send an email through our exim 4.50 server.
I kept getting it returned to me with an "Unrouteable address" error.
Checking the logfile I see this:
2007-09-05 15:28:12 1ISvrX-d0-Mx ** [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Unrouteable address
Could this be caused by some transient DNS
