Hi, I found out why esound wasn't working it was because there was nothing in the file that I wanted to play the play command seems to be removing everything from the files!! Also, I have an old sound card, so how can I get esound to start at 22.05khz, 8 bit and stereo? thanks --

Hi there! My mail provider uses smtp-after-pop (i.e.you must query for new mail first before being able to send). Currently I invoke fetchmail and sendmail via /etc/ppp/ip-up but it looks like sendmail gets first there most of the time, which means the server rejects my mails. If I invoke

hello I've noticed strange behaviour of 2.2.9-19mdk. Here is explanation: If sys_exit call in a user program is missing such program hangs and cannot be killed. At all (kill -9 and SysRq will not help). Even if you kill that terminal - program itself remains anyway. Only way to kill - reboot.
