Hi, How can i remove some icons from the desktop. I tried to remove them from tek desktop directory but at the next startx they are once again present. I ve got some problems with kfm, when i open a tgz or a tar file , many directories appear in kfm and it s impossible to look into them. Thanks

Hi, I have the exact same computer and get similar behavior. I've begun to suspect the files themselves are at fault, since I can in general play midi files, mp3's and many .wavs with no problem. But I haven't copied one of the "noise" files yet to windows to test it, so I could be wrong.

I've had the same problem yesterday with Mandrake 6.1 Helios. When I logged in with another user, all was fine. I made a copy of the home dir of the user for wich KDE wasn'nt working anymore, and emptied the original homedir, deleting ALL that was in it. Logged out of KDE and logged in again with

Hi all just installed a new Mandrake 6.1 after downloading and burning the cd image. I then re-compiled a homemade kernel tuned to my config, and so far everything seems to work well. So, congrats for the good work. I have a small suggestion (for later versions) which is rather directed at
