Try this:
- Uninstall abisuite if you don't use it
- edit /etc/X11/fs/config and change the line:
/usr/share/fonts/default/Type1
to:
/usr/share/fonts/default/Type1:unscaled
In my system it's the only fix that works.

There is a perl scritpt that uses curl to retrieve hotmail and forward it to

Yeah, I've noticed that as well and it's annoyed me enough that I
actually got off my lazy arse and modified my /etc/fstab. It had the
same cdrom entries as yours, but I just went back to the old way and
stuck this line back in:
/dev/hdc/mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto 0 0
It doesn't
make Wine start at boot time. I need to run a database server we
normally run as an NT service. This database server (Faircom - required
for some library automation software) runs as an NT service but will
also work pretty well running under Wine on a Linux server. I'd like to
have this start
You can always put in custom startup information in /etc/rc.d/rc.local.

I had xtraceroute-0.8.14-20mdk installed with Mandrake 8.0 but it wouldn't
work. I then upgraded my glibc to 2.2.3 and xtraceroute to the cooker
version 0.8.14-21mdk (I didn't upgrade glibc just for this). It still
doesn't work.
What happens: I run xtraceroute from a konsole as superuser

Don't waste your time asking... this has been a problem for MANY months...
there have been some tweaks to the mailer; but this behaviour resists
resolution.
The workaround is to send individual messages to each list.
