Well, I'm running Mandrake 9.0 and both 8.2 and 9.0 didn't have any problems detecting my usb intellimouse. In one of the release candidates for 9.0, there was a problem with using a usb mouse if /usr was on a different partition that / but I believe this was fixed for the final release. On
