After a power failure, and the fsck on reboot, I
no longer have any display. The screen flashes a few lines of snow every few
seconds.
It doesn't respond to ctrl+alt+backspace and
will not switch terminals.
Its not hardware because the display is fine up
to the point where X starts.

Can anyone tell me how to use kmodem with Mandrake 6.0? It's
set up to use kde in the /opt/kde and doesn't install in Mandrake. Surely there
must be a simple workaround?
