Could someone please tell me how to disable the screen blanker (not KDE). I
have tried the following without success:
setterm -blank 0
echo -e \33[9;0]
I'm using mandrake linux version 9.

These do not work. I am using a laptop running KDE and Mandrake Version 9.
I have also tried disabling power management again without success.
