Hi,

I downloaded and installed Ximian desktop onto a Mandrake 7.2 system.
Red Carpet seems very promising, but I noticed a few items:

1. It can't find a mirror list on the Ximian website (not blocking as you can
use their main site)

2. As their is a channel that checks the mandrake-updates, you should be able
to install from red carpet. Works very nice, but a couple of packages could not
be found on their mirror, and I didn't find a way to change the mirror, so I
had to fall back to MandrakeUpdate to install these missing packages. 

These are the only things that have bothered me. The rest works very fine, and
it's certainly great to be able to install, upgrade, remove packages from
different sources!
