Hi Listers,
I run Mdk 7.2 on a broad range of desktops and servers.
I've RTFM and issued appropos, scanned the LDP, and read every HOWTO and FAQ.
But I just cannot figure out how to pronounce Civilme.

time you run MU the item will correctly update and disappear from the list.
6. Run MU from a terminal (issue MandrakeUpdate) rather than from DrakCOnf.
Leave the terminal window open so you can see what messages are being written while
you update. This can assist debugging.

I love my ThinkPad A21e. 15" LCD @ 1024x768, 512Mb/10Gb, added a Lucent Orinoco
wireless card. OSS supports the Intel soundcard and the speakers sound incredi

Anthony was quite right about the pcmcia-cs package. pcmcia-cs-3.1.24 from
sourceforge works a treat.
FWIW, I have the client correctly using an Apple AirPort base station for
bridging to my LAN and the net.

I've seen similar failure to effect change in services.
I've made a habit of running linuxconf from the non-X console white the Mdk
developers get drakxservices sorted out.

I can't find a .conf or cache file, and #rpm --rebuilddb makes no
difference.
Any pointers?

What's a Debian and where can I buy one?
pdate and grab gprmi first, then
quit MandrakeUpdate, then relaunch to update MandrakeUpdate, then quit and
#rpm --rebuilddb and then reboot. Then use MandrakeUpdate to patch the rest
of the system without the rpm 'hang' condition. YMMV.

I've seen this behaviour on three different 7.2 boxes that I've set up

After updating grpmi (and MandrakeUpdate) to latest versions, the bug has
completely disappeared.
Always remember to #rpm --rebuilddb after such a crash-out, btw.
