I looking to purchase a new dual processor system so I am looking into my options. Is anyone successfully using an AMD SPM system with Mandrake? Also is anyone having problems with Intel dual processor motherboards like the Tyan’s or Asus’s with the VIA chipsets? Thanks in advance… Steve

I to would like to find out what if any patches are made to the kernel. I think the reason for the size difference is the kernel image. What command did you use to create the kernel ifile? Did you use >make bzimage? This will compress it down in size so it will fit on a floppy. If some one knows
