i just reinstalled mandrake 7.2, before i reinstalled i could dial up the internet fine, but now for some reason when i do an ifup ppp0 it won't do anything and i'll control-c it and then it will die with out an error i ckecked all my configs and everything seems to be working fine. the modem

i installed the caching dns server on mandrake 7.2, it works fine one that box, and on other windows boxes, but when i put the ip of the dns server in resolv.conf on another linux box and try to run nslookup i get this error message, nslookup *** Can't find server name for address

i have a ati all in wonder pro 128 video card. it works fine in xwindows untill you switch consoles and then go back to the one you were in. the colors get all messed up. anyone else have this problem or know of a fix for it?
