I have installed MDK 7.2 from downloaded CD images. Everything
installed correctly and runs well. I have done the normal software
updates with no problems. The X system is the one that comes with that
distribution (4.0 I believe).
The issue is that when running an X session, and I attempt to star
MB mount as /boot
P2 - 2 GB Windows 98
EXT2
L1 - 2 GB for BeOS
L2 - 133 MB Swap
L3 - 5.1 GB mount as root
I can start either Windows or LM7.2 at boot time, and am going to
install BeOS next. BeOS has a nice boot loader and I may use it to
control the system startup.

I posted this problem along with a session log to [EMAIL PROTECTED] on
Feb 15/2001 and received no reply. I know it hit the list as is was in
their summary for the day. I will re-post to that site and ask if I am

I installed version 8 on my system and 2 strange things are happening.
The first is that during the install, when fetching the various files it
would load 3 or 4 rapidly, and then on the next would get part way
