MB mount as /boot P2 - 2 GB Windows 98 EXT2 L1 - 2 GB for BeOS L2 - 133 MB Swap L3 - 5.1 GB mount as root I can start either Windows or LM7.2 at boot time, and am going to install BeOS next. I installed version 8 on my system and 2 strange things are happening. The first is that during the install, when fetching the various files it would load 3 or 4 rapidly, and then on the next would get part way through the fetch and stop. After 15 to 30 seconds, it would start again and continue

I have installed Mandrake-Linux 8.0 on my laptop with no errors (it seems). I then set up the Software Manager (MandrakeUpdate) with a ftp site, and a list of candidates available for update was displayed. I selected a few programs to update and started the process. The rpminst window then came up
