Another great sync tool to mention would be unison in my eyes. I've
tried several and this has come out as the best for my needs, it
synchronizes in both directions, presents you a list of what to do which
you can edit and has the ability to sync over ssh, rsh and ftp or

I tried to plug a Archos Jukebox to my MDK 8.2 box today. everything
worked fine, the usb-storage module was automagically loaded, but no
device appeared in /dev/scsi/host1/bus0/target0/lun0
this is what appeared in /var/log/messages:

Bug (with solution)
I'm experiencing a funny bug here with xine. It only shows the video
output when xmms is up (but not playing anything). Audio works
flawlessly anytime.
If xmms is missing the video output is represented by a green area only.
