Hi I tried installing 7.1. However, after 'Format partitions' the installations proces breaks. On console 3 I get the following error message: warning: Can't take sqrt of -0.355924 at /usr/bin/perl-install/pkgs.pm line 186 befor this message I have some 'unknown package' and 'unknown entry' messages. I'm installing over network from a local mirror, tried it with ftp or nfs. I have a dual celeron-board, raid0 with two disks and reiserFS on top of it, however, I don't think it has anything to do with the problem as I also tried it with the old Linux native filesystem. When I ignore the message and just click on the next star on the left side i starts installing a very basic system. All other installing steps do work well and the new system is booting, also with reiser, however, it is really a very basic system and I wan't to have the 'everything' system, not the 'basic' system... I had no problem to set up Mandrake 7.0 on the same machine, raid and linux ntive filesystem. Can anybody help me? And yes, when I use the installer in text mode it crashes after the selection of my mouse when it comes to the keyboard selection. It says no memory left or somehing... Too bad that I wiped my old running system for a new 7.1 with reiser :-( Any help is appreciated! -florian
