[expert] Configuring a small local network and internet connection

Hello, Probably this is an FAQ. How to set up a local network with one machine connected to the internet via ppp? What about proxies/routers? The local network is made up from ethernet 100 Mbps cards and a 5-port 100 Mbps HUB. The internet connection is an ISDN modem with 64 kbps access.
