So up until now, all you've done was access a share on the NT4 box? Did
you have a share on your Linux box, so NT could access it?

What machine is the printer connected to (looks like maybe the Linux box)? Your error 
msg
looks to me like you may have Samba running as a client (able to access other shares), 
but
it isn't configured as a server, to provide shared printers and folders.

Perhaps you could post relevant parts of your smb.conf file, so we can see exactly how 
you
are set up.
