All, Can somebody give me the quick-and-dirty answer to configuring the FTP server to allow per-user logins? So I can log in as my normal user account and access my home directory...? I'm used to Redhat where it comes pre-configured that way. Thanks, Derek

Download and run ncFTPD. It is a lot easier to configure than the wu-ftp and bero-ftpd packages that Mandrake packages. However, you should be able to FTP right away IF the ftp package was installed. Run "netstat -l |grep ftp" to check. Jason S. Antonacci Computer Support Specialist IV Univ.
