That is similar to what I heard.  You want 2 identical DIMMS or performance suffers.  
I was just trying to make sure I heard that correctly or not.  On the otherhand, 
though, I haven't seen anything that shows performance would be affected where one 
would actually notice it, except in specific situations (i.e. normal use wouldn't 
detect it, but possible high end graphic manipulation/processing would).
