I have a Dell 600, the system came with an on board ethernet card. I would like to install anothe one in my pci slot. And have it as eth1. Our network here is all DHCP, so would I have to give this new card a static ip are can I give it and DHCP address. The reason : I have an Xenvizex Xterminal which now is connected NFS. whick Is slow. I was wondering if I could direct connect this Xterminal. Export DISPLAY back from my other HP-9000, RS 6000 systems.
