The basic idea is: Is there a package to substitue KDE icons with other ones more appropiate for 8 bit working? It would help a lot when using an Xterminal connected to a Linux box (and enjoy KDE, which I like more than CDE*). In case of Gnome I guess the same...

How can I use less colors (8 bit display) still using KDE? I need to use 8 bit display because some software I use requires so. KDE leaves few available colors!. Same question about Gnome (that lets no available colors!). TIA!
