Hi Gary, 

I ran the modprobe files as you suggested, and went through
the v4l-conf utility as you wrote, and I still get the error:

v4l-conf: using X11 display :0 dga: version 1.1 mode: 1
024x768, depth=24, bpp=32, bpl=4096, base=0xd8000000 can't open /dev/video: 
No such device

I'm stuck on this one.  I tried deleting the /dev/video device and reinstalling 
it several times.  Both as a ln -s and as mknod.  I don't know how to fix this
problem.  

Do you have any ideas?
