Well, I've found a simple solution to both lilo problems - from RedHat, the
Mandrake kernel is at /mnt/mandrake/boot/vmlinuz, and from Mandrake,
the Red Hat kernel is at /mnt/redhat/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.14-5.0
Lilo now works from either install, so only problem 1 (see original post)
remains.
