Doesnt lpr do accounting, using "ac" or "af:" (dont
remember exactly) to define accouting file?
I think it does...or maybe something within samba for
samba printing.
My windoze boxes all print using "remote printer"
which is actually a networked printer thru Unix.

not sure I'm following, but it sounds like you want to log what windows
users print? Use CUPS, then share the printers with Samba. Print jobs
will be logged by both CUPS and Samba.
