[expert] Raid controllers

Hi All,
        Anyone have any experience or comments on RAID
controllers for Linux? I need a hardware RAID-5 solution,
the AMI offering is too expensive and the DPT drivers give
my kernels the hiccups.
        All thoughts gratefully recieved.
