Dear friends:

This message concerns the problem of run-on lines and overlapping characters
in Mozilla 0.9.2 and, therefore, Galeon 0.11.1, that is, as Civileme
explains, in all Gecko engine browsers. See his answer below.

Thank you,

Benjamin

Thanks to Civileme's a) confirmation of the strange behavior b) explanation
of what's causing it and c) a clue about using your own fonts (see my full
explanation in my letter which went out just before I got Civileme's answer,
I have now figured out a workaround solution. Namely, make sure you UNcheck
or leave blank the option in Mozilla under Edit, Preferences, Fonts to "allow
use of other fonts." Use your own fonts ONLY until this issue has been
resolved by the developers for the next version of Mozilla. If you use
Galeon, you don't need to do this twice, but you can do the same in Galeon
under Settings, Fonts by CHECKING "Always use these fonts."

That's the best I could do, and, based on Civileme's report, it looks like
it's all we can do until this issue is resolved, hopefully in time for the
next Mozilla.
