i've looked at 'man xmodmap', to be honest all i can see are ways to get one
combination of keys to stand in for other combination of keys, i didn't see a
way to assign 'commands' to keys, am i missing something?

You gotta get one, it is great (and more than microsauce makes them now). I
guess it should be trivial to get both fingers to work together, but having
the third button mitigates the fact that I'm a klutz. And it works with UNIX.

Not to help, just to chime in:
In order for me to copy from email (Kmail) to browser (usually Opera)
[to avoid use of Konqueror] I FIRST must erase anything in the loc.
bar, then use the mouse buttons. Otherwise it does nothing.
Just a gripe.
