[expert] extracting a single file from within an rpm

Hi, does anyone know how to (or even if it's possible) to extract a single file from within an rpm? Reason being I wish to install xine but it requires libXv.so.1 . A quick search on rpmfind reveals it to be in XFree86-libs-4.1.0-3mdk.i586.rpm from Mandrake cooker I don't want to have to risk
