I did an upgrade from RedHat 5.2 with a selfcompiled kernel 2.2.3 to Mandrake 6.0 with kernel 2.2.9-19. I can start my system from the boot floppy but trying to start it from the HD gives at once a "crc error" and the system halts. I tried to compile a smaller kernel, but again the same
