Do these messages give any hints to my problem.
It has never happened until recently.
LM 7.2 with odds and ends.
[root@home bill]# kppp
Couldn't find interface ppp0: (null)
Kernel supports ppp alright.
Couldn't find interface ppp0: (null)
ERROR: KUniqueApplication: DCOP communication error!
DCOPServer : slotTerminate() -> sending terminateKDE signal.
kdeinit::LAUNCHER_TERMINATE_KDE -> terminateKDE
The ppp0 'not found' has always been there
but kppp still worked until recently.
'ps ax' shows kppp still active and I have to kill the pid
I have kppp options set to redial after connection timeout.
Any thoughts?
