Hi all, my rpm database is missing most of the packages I have installed..
it says many packages are not installed when they are... I have ran rpm --rebuilddb many times and it still doesn't know whats going on.. I am going through the expert/upgrade now, having removed a great deal of stuff manually first in the hope that I can get it working again, but I am not overly hopeful... can anyone make any suggestions? is there a way to get rpm to search your disk for packages that are installed and add them to the db? rgds frank
