Hello, I have succesfully installed Mandrake 7.0 on a Dell Inspiron 3700 laptop. (with Gnome as desktop). (Mobile Pentium III, UltraDMA/ATA-33, Ati Rage Mobility-P, Ess Maestro-2E) Everything seems to be working OK except `shutdown -r now'. This happens from both runlevel 3 or runlevel 5. The

I had this problem on my Emachine 366 when I accidentally chose the Kernel with SMP support, although everything else worked fine?
