somehow I am unable to get software manager working for me.
I did as you have said.
I have deleted the CD1 and CD2 from the source list, which
were there earlier ...
how to get them back...I tried all the possible ways...

Well to check out what I told you to do, I followed
the same instruction that I gave you and did a
Security update. This is what I did, Connected to the
internet, brought up Sofware manager selected Define
Source, when the next GUI came up I selected New,
Another GUI came up I selected Security u

Launch the Software Manager, click on "Define Sources"
and "New". For type of source, select http and click
the update list of mirrors and wait while the list is
being added to the list of sources, takes awhile.
Once it is updated, under the "Installable" tab toggle
the "All" to "Updates Only".

I am trying to add a new HTTP source to RPMDRAKE for
live updating my packages.but
once I click okaythe site is lost and only CD1 and CD2 sources
are back again...the 3rd source(i.e http site) is not sought for
updating..
