I use XEmacs for my HTML. It had auto-indent, color to designate
different tags, and a bunch of other features that help to produce
very clean code.

I use XEmacs for my HTML. It had auto-indent, color to designate
different tags, and a bunch of other features that help to produce
very clean code.

Dear Olivier:
I am a newbie but try Amaya at:
http://www.w3.org/Amaya/
and try Bluefish:
http://bluefish.linuxbox.com/
Both of these are professional HTML editors. Amaya is also an HTML
browser/editor.

Hi Olivier,
why not try gnotepad+ within GNOME... It has some HTML formating
