I've heard that LM8 has a few problems with some notebooks however as
far as the ISO image is concerned, I think it's unlikely that a CD-
recording program would recognise the image if it was incomplete.
Did LM7.2 work?

Agreed. I have the same problem with my Micron Transport GX+. I'm
very disappointed. It worked more or less OK
