Unplug the hub and plug a single device into the port on the PC. If it works
then its the hub, if not, try all the devices you had plugged into the hub
one at a time, cos it might just be your first choice that's stopping
everything. If all fails its then down to the machine/operating system.

Do one thing at a time and you should soon find the reason.

At the weekend my usb hub stopped working.  All lights went out, 
nothing recognised.  I bought a Belkin 4-port usb2/1.1 hub.  Since 
then I have had problems.  This morning I tried to run GnomeMeeting 
and it crashed.  Now I find that I have a power light on the hub, but 
no green connection lights.  Neither printer, scanner nor webcam are 
found by the system.

This is obviously crippling me.  Has anyone any ideas?
