No - you got it wrong . this is not a separate setup step what I
wanted to say was that there are two checkboxes under setup icon on xfce
Actually, Ben did make mention of that in the original post cause I went
back and re-read the post to see if there was something that I missed
and sure enough it was in there.

This must a bug on your system. I would suggest joining the xfce mailing
list and ask one of the list members for help. I reall don't know what
the problem is. I imagine you have the latest version. I just left-click
on the xfce desktop and this brings up the menu, with full menus for

Mandrake's and Gnome's menus. Plus you can add icons (as many as 12) to
each of the 12 panel/toolbar icons. Click on the arrow above Netscape
and you'll see more icons. You can configure in Setup as many as 10

buttons on the panel. Other then what was already there, there's
precious little in the way of menu items. Only drawback I've seen so
