Anyone know how to contact David Lynch directly to run a project past him?
This is a political/psychological thriller, with a religious/spiritual subplot set to shoot in Iowa. It's very much in keeping with what's happening in the US today. If you have interest in knowing more, feel free to contact me. (fyi, we're looking for in- state investment sources to get the ball rolling) Press Release For Immediate Release Contact: Nancy Platt 913.488.4279 - Publicist [EMAIL PROTECTED] Iowa Film Office 515.242.4726 "Prophets" Honing in on Iowa Hollywood, CA - Producers of the independent feature film "Prophets of the Fall" are currently involved in discussions to bring their production to Iowa for filming. Lead by a talented group of Midwestern natives, including Writer-Producer Robert A. Boleyn, a 1987 graduate of Thomas Roberts Senior High School in Decorah, and University of Iowa Alumna, the team is also considering Wisconsin, Massachusetts, or Michigan. But they've been lobbied hard on the benefits of the Iowa Film Rebate program by Tom Wheeler, Executive Director of the Iowa Film Office. And the decision to film in Iowa is nearly a done deal, according to the Producers. In anticipation of this, the team has rewritten the script to highlight some of the hidden jewels Iowa has to offer, such as the Luther College Nordic Choir, the Ames Piano Quartet, and the Boone & Scenic Valley Railway. All of which have tentatively agreed to appear in scenes within the movie. Should Iowa be chosen, the film is slated to shoot in various locations throughout the state, including Des Moines, Dubuque, Iowa City and Boone. When asked who'll be headlining the cast, the Producers are tight lipped but hint that we'll recognize some of the short list candidates for supporting cast from their Waterloo and Ottumwa roots. The project's Iowa roots reach beyond the screen, as well. Iowans working behind the scenes include Steve Dickinson of Des Moines; Decorah native Tim Anderson, currently of Davenport; and Lonnie Schuyler of Burlington. "I'll never forget seeing Star Wars, at the old downtown theatre in Oelwein. It was 1976 and the first time I saw a movie in a theatre. I was awestruck. All I could think is 'Someday, I'm gonna to do that!' Fast forward nearly 35 years, and here we are with a once in a lifetime opportunity to fulfill that prophecy in the place it all started," comments Boleyn. "I couldn't have written a better ending to this story." The project, with a $7.5 MM production budget, is currently working to secure private funding from Iowa-based investors that would allow the discussions with Iowa Film Office, as they relate to the Iowa Film Rebate program, to move forward in a very aggressive manner. # # # For more information, please contact Nancy Platt at 913.488.4279. http://www.prophetsofthefall.com Investor contact: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________________________ Robert A.
