I vaguely recall a lecture in which Maharishi quoted the closing of John 
Milton's sonnet, "On His Blindness," which ends with "They also serve who only 
stand and wait." As I recall, Maharishi sampled that line to support his 
teaching that transcending was not essential to gaining the benefits of TM; 
merely standing outside the door of the transcendent was sufficient.
 

 Does anyone here remember that lecture? What do you recall?
