M talked about developing the immortal body on numerous occasions (well, at least 4 or 5 in my hearing). He also talked about historical (Indian, of course) figures for whom there is no record of them having passed away. Drunvalo claims to have met Thoth and learned from him. When I was in Egypt at an out of the way "insignificant" crypt, brought there by our energy-sensitive guide (just one guide and me and my partner), I sat down, went into a very deep meditation, sought out the source of the energy and connected with it psychically. IME, it was one of the few real living "mummies," still alive and in stasis for over 3,000 years (but, hey...).
